Registrations are now open for the following short courses being run by UTS in Contaminated Site Assessment Remediation and Management (CSARM)
Module B : Planning Effective Site Assessment Thursday 28th – Saturday 30th May ( 156Kb)
Participants will learn the principles of effective site assessment, interpreting the results and reporting and evaluating uncertainties.
Module C : Contaminants of Concern Thursday 1st July – Saturday 3rd July ( 123Kb)
Participants will learn why it is essential to characterise chemical contaminants in both soils and waters and approaches to identifying and dealing with chemicals of environmental concern at contaminated sites.
The courses are designed for environmental professionals working in the field of contaminated sites as well as for science and engineering graduates who would like to enter this field. Each module is stand alone and is designed to enable participants to update their particular area of expertise, to extend their knowledge base and to network with colleagues in industry and government. The courses are supported by the NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change.
